Southern New Mexico communities invite you to explore the great outdoors, support local businesses, and enter to win prizes!

Encompassing national monuments, national parks, state parks, diverse geographic and ecological features, and a variety of trails to explore, Southern New Mexico is a playground for outdoor lovers, adventurists, and those looking to reconnect with nature. With sprawling wide-open spaces, incomparable scenic views, and excursions for outdoor enthusiasts of all levels of expertise, Southern New Mexico is the ideal destination for a fall getaway or weekend trip!

After a day of exploring, unwind and refuel at one of the many local restaurants, breweries, and wineries, and enjoy a stay at one of the unique lodging areas throughout Southern New Mexico. Each community offers a wide array of locally-owned boutiques, gift shops, and art galleries to pick up a souvenir from your trip.

How to Enter: Visit any of the outdoor attractions, restaurants, breweries, wineries, shops, local businesses, or hotels in participating communities. Next, take a photo at your location and post it to Facebook or Instagram with the hashtag #ScenicSouthernNM to be entered to win. Contest is open between September 27 and November 8, 2021. Photos submitted after the closing date will not be entered.

Posted photos must be set to public to ensure entries can be seen. Winners will be chosen at random, with several small prizes from individual communities and a grand prize package. Learn more on the Visit Las Cruces website!
